About us:
OHAYO VENTURES LTD has identified a significant gap in practical skills education among young people graduating from junior and senior high schools. Many lack access to facilities where they can acquire hands-on skills needed for employment or income-generating activities. This often leads them to migrate to Kampala in search of jobs, where many face difficulties securing employment due to inadequate qualifications and may resort to illegal activities.
Women in the area are also affected by this issue. The lack of skills hampers their ability to start income-generating projects, impacting their ability to support themselves and their families.
Bukomero Skills Academy is here to address this challenge. We aim to be a leading institution offering practical skills training, providing students with the experience and confidence needed to become successful professionals. ブコメロ スキルス アカデミーとは
2015年に設立されたコミュニティベースの非営利団体であり、2006年非政府組織
登録修正条項に基づいてウガンダ政府に登録されています。
長年にわたり、私達 福岡ウガンダ友好協会は、ブコメロ地区で慈善活動を行い、地元の人々と交流してきました。この地域には、高校を卒業後の多くの若者たちを、仕事や収入を得るために役立つ実践的なスキルをトレーニングする施設がありません。彼らは、仕事を探して首都カンパラに移住する以外に選択肢はありません。
しかし彼らの大部分は資格の欠如のために仕事を見つけることができず、したがって彼らは違法な、活動に従事していく例が見られます。
この問題は、この地域の女性にも影響を与えています。彼女たちはそのスキルがないために、自分自身や家族を養うための安定した収入を得ることが出来ません。
ブコメロの地方自治体は、ブコメロスキルスアカデミー 地域の若者や女性が自立するためのスキルを習得出来る施設を造るための活動を立ち上げるように正式な要請を行っています。
