About us:
OHAYO VENTURES LTD, has learned that a lot of young people who graduate from Junior high schools and high schools are lacking enough facilities where to learn practical skills that can help them find jobs or engage in income generating activities. They have no choice but to migrate to the capital Kampala in search of jobs. However, a large percentage of them can't find employment due to lack of qualifications hence they engage in illegal activities.
The problem also affects women in the area. Due to lack of skills, they find it hard to set up income generating projects/activities to feed themselves and take care of their families.

2015年に設立されたコミュニティベースの非営利団体であり、2006年非政府組織
登録修正条項に基づいてウガンダ政府に登録されています。
長年にわたり、私達 福岡ウガンダ友好協会は、この地域で慈善活動を行い。地元の人々と交流
してきました。この地域には、高校を卒業後の多くの若者たちを、仕事や収入を得るために役立つ
実践的なスキルをトレーニングする施設がありません。彼らは、仕事を探して首都カンパラに移住
する以外に選択肢はありません。しかし彼らの大部分は資格の欠如のために仕事を見つけることができず、したがって彼らは違法な、活動に従事していく例が見られます。
この問題は、この地域の女性にも影響を与えています。彼女たちはそのスキルがないために、自分自身や家族を養うための安定した収入を得ることが出来ません。
ブコメロの地方自治体は、ブコメロスキルスアカデミー 地域の若者や女性が自立するためのスキルを習得
出来る施設を造るための活動を立ち上げるように正式な要請を行っています。
